Winter on the Alm Salettl

From the ski lift carousel you can reach us via the Rauher Busch ski run (lift no. 12).

The entrance to the ski lift carousel Winterberg is also ideal above us. From the B480 you take the exit to the industrial area Remmeswiese, where you will find us right next to our camping site Hochsauerland. Tickets for the ski lift carousel are available right next to the lift station, one of our large, top modern ski rentals is also only 100 m away.

27 kilometres of slopes, 34 downhill runs, 26 ski lifts - the Winterberg ski lift carousel delights beginners, advanced skiers and professionals every winter anew with perfectly groomed slopes and lots of mountain hut magic. 270 modern snowmaking systems guarantee the finest winter pleasures from December to March. In addition, varied slopes, an exciting fun park and floodlighting provide additional action and lots of fun.

Our 7 ski rental stations are situated in a top location directly at the entrance to the ski lift carousel Winterberg. Whether carving skis, snowboards, cross-country skis, toboggans, big feet, helmets or protectors - our certified ski rentals have the right equipment to get you straight into the winter sports fun.

With us you get the latest ski and winter sports articles and only the best quality. As a test center for Völkl and Head Ski you can also rent the latest models from us as Race, Fun and Allround models in the categories Basic, Top and Premium.

Most modern care and selection

For the care of our boots we use modern boot drying and disinfection facilities in all ski rentals and the care of our skis is completely computer-controlled. This is how we guarantee you:

The distribution process is also 100% digital. Thus, with your individually recorded parameters, the perfect model is determined by computer and the functional and safety-relevant settings are made.

Overnight care service

We offer you our overnight service at all our ski rental locations. Bring us your skis until 5pm and get them back the next morning freshly prepared for the perfect start on the slopes.

Rent deposit box

In our depot lockers you can safely and comfortably store everything you don't need on the slopes, from your rucksack to your ski equipment. Only 1 € per locker and day and you are rid of unnecessary luggage. If you stay longer, we recommend our heated lockers for only 2 € per day. So the next skiing day starts perfectly with dry and warm boots.

Ski school

You want to improve your ski skills or are you standing on the boards for the first time? Mum and dad are already riding like the pros and now the youngsters are supposed to hit the slopes too? In cooperation with the New Ski School Winterberg and the Ski School Semmler we offer interesting and instructive ski and snowboard courses for young and old.

The courses

No matter if you are a beginner or advanced skier, if you want to practice with a private instructor or take a special course - we will make you fit for the slopes. Newcomers to skiing and snowboarding learn the basics with us, on which they later build more complex skiing techniques. You're already safely on the slope? Advanced and professional skiers also benefit from our courses: we will improve your technique and give you many valuable tips for even more fun in winter sports.

Important for beginners: As the lifts are not used in the first part of the course, you don't need a lift ticket to start.

The up-and-coming skiers

A special focus is on our courses for kids and teens. Playfully and with a lot of fun they are introduced to skiing and get to know the world of winter sports. You will learn the latest skiing techniques and can even win prizes in small races. Very important: safety first. For safe skiing fun we require helmets for children. If you rent your ski equipment in our ski rentals, you will get a helmet for free.

Multilingual courses

We also offer all our courses in several languages. In addition to German, you will take courses in English and Dutch. The appropriate language is not included? Just talk to us and we will try to find a solution.

Cross-country skiing

The Nordicsport-Arena Sauerland is a paradise for all cross-country skiing fans. In the network of up to 500 km of cross-country trails, everyone will find the perfect route. For beginners there are about 95 km of trails and the advanced runners among you can look forward to 270 km of quality trails. Ski pros train their skills and condition on another 106 km of cross-country skiing.

Camping in winter

The 4-star Camping Park Hochsauerland is located directly at the ski lift carousel Winterberg. Here you camp all year round and are close to everything that is important. The city centre of Winterberg can be reached on foot in about 10 minutes and the entrance to the ski area is practically right on your doorstep. Our ski hut Rauher Busch and our après-ski bar Alm Salettl belong to the camping park. Here you can end your skiing day comfortably or to the sounds of popular hut hits. The camping park also has a large caravan park

Directly at the park you will find our certified ski rental, a ski school and the Kinderland with toboggan run, for a perfect ski holiday with the whole family.
